Babies and Chaos

Relaxation when you’re a mom

Let’s talk relaxation, as a mother I don’t get a whole lot of it. When I do it’s only for a short time before I feel guilty or the husband and baby find me. As little me time as we get we all know that it is very important to treat ourselves occasionally or else we would lose our minds.

So what do I recommend?

I was recently presented the opportunity to try a product that I want to share with you. It is the BluBerry Acai Masque by Fountain of Youth Skincare. I have been putting it to the test by using it once or twice a week for the last month and I must say my skin looks amazing! This product is specifically designed to help with scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, hydrating, acne, and anti-aging. You may not know this about me but I smoked from the age of 14 until I was 21 and lately I have really started to notice the effects it had on my skin. After 4 weeks of using this product I have noticed a huge difference. To the point that I forgot I wasn’t wearing foundation one day. The ingredients are even vegan and organic. I mean can it get any better than that?!

Such cute packaging!
This container just says luxury to me.

It is such a relaxing experience to use this masque. It smells heavenly. A lot of blueberry products have too strong of a smell for me but this one was perfect. What I did was I splashed some water on my face, then I mixed a small amount of the masque with some water in my hand and then spread it over my face and neck. Then you just relax for 10 to 20 minutes. I liked to do this in the bath so that it was a spa like experience (except for the one-time Skyla was with me, not so relaxing). Then just wipe it away with a warm washcloth and moisturize. I was sent a sample of the coconut moisturizer to use afterward and it smells soooo good.

So what’s the catch?

No catch I swear, I really do love this product. I did have a bit of confusion when using the product because the instruction sheet it came with and the instructions on the container were different. I chose to follow the ones on the container for most of the times I used it but I did use the instructions on the sheet as well. Both had the same results but the ones on the container used less product and I preferred it.

As soon as you open the container you can smell this amazingness.
This smells so good and is vegan, organic, cruelty free, and farm grown!

The product is available at and you get 2 ounces for $30.00. You can also get bigger sizes if you would like. To me at first that seemed like a lot but honestly once I started using the masque I realized it goes a lot further than I thought. I still have half of a container left and I have been using it for over a month. That is a lot of relaxation time people. Once a week (or more) you can unwind and pamper yourself without breaking the bank.

As with any new skincare product I did see some small breakouts at first but I expected this. It’s the same as when you get a professional facial. They were all minor and went away within a few days. I was sent the product for free but this is my honest and unbiased review. So what do you think? Will you be pampering yourself?
